Jerry C. Parker, PhD, is associate dean emeritus and professor emeritus of physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.  He has directed research programs in healthcare services, health informatics, and translational bioinformatics; he has developed and led educational programs in the areas of life sciences innovation and entrepreneurship.
